How To Transform Your Self Image.

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

The self image is what is known as how you see and feel about yourself through out the day and everyday.  Also the self image is what you believe others think about you.  We live in a world that has been conditioned to a lot of external conditions and circumstances and images of what the world is and what has been given to us as a young child through out our life’s.

If at the moment you are reading this post, and somehow you feel sad, angry or negative, don’t worry, some times is part of our emotions at play, and a lot of it,has to do with the way we have been programmed and conditioned in our minds.  I must admit that I can say that I see your point and totally understand that sometimes during our existence we tend to feel that way.  The good news is that we can decide to be aware of thoughts like that and in an instantly change them to more positive and inspirational thoughts, is all got to do with vibrations, and if we decide to make a change in the way we think about a lot of things we can actually change the vibrations happening internally and that will manifest externally.  You see as we know about the universal laws, one of them says that everything in the universe vibrates, and since we are part of this universe, we do also vibrate at a certain degree, weather something is solid or as subtle as thoughts, nothing stands still.

The amazing thing is that is never too late to start to re-programmed and condition your mind, and in return transform who you are and how you see yourself, and become a new you, using the phrase, I am”. By positive affirmations and auto suggestions you can actually transmute your mind, into creating new thought patterns and in hence creating new habits.  This time by feeling good and seeing yourself successful in everything that you do or think, also that will start the process, in believing in yourself and most definitely start to plant new seeds in your mind as to how you believe others think about you, which is very important, in the experiences that we have when dealing with love ones and other people.

What Is Autosuggestion?

Autosuggestion is to penetrate and conceive new positive thoughts into your subconscious mind until it creates new networks in the neurons of your brain, therefore creating new habits and behavior in the way you think and feel about yourself.  Autosuggestion works very well and is most effective in the plane and realm of emotions and feelings.  The truth here is to create positive outcomes, and the actions that we take are influenced by our state of mind and how emotional we feel by the result of autosuggestion.

Some down to earth practical tips to begin autosuggestion on a daily basis.

  • Be aware that it takes around 1 month or 30 days, depending on you pace, to have a new Self Image.  So try your best to be patient.
  • Write down on a page, a list of every word, sentence or affirmations that gives you are higher sense of purpose, actually what most makes you comfortable and inspiring.  Best to print it out on a sheet and carry it with you or post it on a wall in your room.
  • Organize the words into affirmations, always starting the sentence with ‘I am’.
  • Repeat the words or affirmations 3 times a day, when you get up in the morning, half way through the day (maybe after or before lunch), and before going to sleep at night.
  • Take action in your duties each day, and at the same time, think, behave, and act in line and in conformity with your new statement or affirmations, and words through out the whole day.
  • The most important thing is to have fun with it and cultivate joyfulness.

Feel the energy surrounding you with joy, adventure, and a sense of worth being, and that your whole body and all of its organs are in line with all the chackras  and connecting to the universe and from where the source of energy is coming from. To me is God, but you can call it what ever you want.

As this is a topic about, the Self Image. I will cover more and talk about the chackras, what they are and what they do, on future posts, so stay tune.

Have a most wonderful and prosperous day.

Cheers…
