Self Improvement From Fear to Freedom.

Friday, June 5th, 2009

The reason I chose this topic to talk about today, is basically the notion to look forward in showing you or demonstrate through this words that Self Improvement from Fear to Freedom takes a lot of courage, discipline, and a willingness to maybe change a few habits that could be holding you back.

Self improvement can and is always happening, weather or not you are aware or conscious of it.  Everything that you do, have achieved or are experiencing right now is because you have actually taking the action to practice or should I say rehearse, sub-consciously in your mind, what ever it is that you have done, right up to now.

You see the way we all learn anything is through constant repetition of action, in other words, we become what is constantly in our minds, and the actions that we proceed in doing what we choose to do.  Typically we see this extraordinary phenomenon in a baby or a child, at first the baby or child, is messy or struggles to do something, regardless, they have the desire or will to accomplish what ever task they think about, and just to emphasize in this point we continue to learn in this way for the rest of our lives.

Keeping things in perspective, we become what we constantly think about, therefore self improvement plays a big role in our life’s so that we keep on polishing and fine tuning the actions as to what ever we put our mind and body to do.  We all have talents in different areas, and the idea of thinking that talent can be taught, is very appealing to most of us, I would imagine, and history have repeatedly shown us that people with big talents, have actually gone through this process of Self Improvement.

Fear Stops People From Achieving Their Goals.

There could be a lot to say and speak about fear, my intention here is to break it down, and find the reason as to why this feeling of Fear Stops People From Achieving Their Goals.  We as human beings have this thing called habits, now before I go on I would like to make it clear that, yes there is good and empowering habits, but for the moment we are going to talk about the other side of the coin, the habits that are dis empowering.

To my observation in human interaction and relationships, noticing a lot of cases, sometimes certain people feel and think they are incapable to do a certain thing, and as human beings, we instantly think of ways to justify our thoughts, and by doing that we can come up with all sort of excuses to think that we cannot do that certain thing.  Now that in itself is a degree of fear.

This are all habits we tend to manifest in our daily life’s.  These habit sometimes are so implanted in our minds that we listen and act upon them, without questioning it.  This makes us comfortable where we are, and not challenge it, because is safer to stay the same.  In other words we have the fear of the change required that can come from stepping out from the comfort zone.  The goals we set out for ourselves involves change, and therefore confronting new empowering habits.

The Beauty Of Freedom.

Freedom will come once we have overcome our fears.  Once we have achieved this, our lives will become unlimited of experiences, challenges, and opportunities .  That will only empower us to grow, because that is the way we will see it, nothing is unachievable, except in unfortunate circumstances, when without our approval, we have to accept it.  The growth within us will only be stronger after each fear is faced.

I would like to ask you, is there anything that you think might be stopping you from taking action, in what ever situation that you might be involved?  Do you realize the potential that is within you right now?

Please feel free to leave a  comment below, and what ever could be in your mind, would you be kind to share it?

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts.

Have a great day.
